The Lincoln Homeless Coalition’s 3^rd Project Homeless Connect Lincoln was held on October 5, 2011. The event was held in conjunction with the Stand Down sponsored by the Veterans Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. This was the first year that the event was held in downtown Lincoln at the Pershing Center. Easier access to the event helped increase the number of guests to 276 people, a 33% increase in the number of persons over 2010 attendance.  Seventy-two organizations and businesses provide services, information, food, supplies, and resources. Dozens of volunteers assisted event guests in getting their needs met. Thanks to all for your support!
